Today was Maggie's preschool Easter party. Things didn't go exactly as planned because of the nasty, rainy weather, but I don't think the kids even noticed! Of course there was an outside egg hunt planned that had to be switched inside, but no one seemed to mind. The parents ended up hiding the eggs in the classroom and the kids had a fun time. They came in the room with the little baskets they made(out of a milk jug...very cute) and ran around the room to find eggs. They were allowed 12 eggs each to ensure that all of the kids got some eggs. And the kids did very well sharing. They sat down to count their eggs and if some had more than 12 and others had less, they would give each other eggs. After they got finished eating, they sat in a circles and did sign language to "Jesus Loves Me." It was so sweet and they did such a good job. All of them knew it so well! Overall, it was a very cute little party. It was also Maggie's last party of the year...her last 3yr old party :( Kinda sad for me!
