MONDAY~VBS kicked off today. I was really nervous because I have never taught VBS before, but it ended up turing out great! Yes, I am a school teacher, but I feel so unqualified when it comes to the Bible, Jesus, God, etc. It's so neat how everything just comes together....I have prayed on several occasions that God would show me a way to get "involved." And he did that with VBS. I know it's something very small, but maybe it's God's starting point for me! After VBS, Maggie and I took care of a lot of things that have been needing to get done....pay bills, furniture stores, grocery store, etc. Afterwards, Maggie had practice and we got home around 7:30. We have our first tournament this weekend and we are very excited about it! We also have some very special people coming to stay with us Wednesday night :)
TUESDAY~We had VBS this morning. We were supposed to have some friends over to swim, but Maggie's tooth has been bothering her, so I decided to go ahead and make her an appointment for this afternoon. That put a damper on our pool plans, but we rescheduled for Thursday :) The dentist said that her tooth is lose, but doesn't show any signs of infection, she we are just going to wait and see what happens with that! Maggie decided to build a fort and hang out in there and play school for the rest of the evening!
WEDNESDAY~We had VBS this morning and ball practice this afternoon. Maggie and I rode in the back of the truck on the way home from practice. Maggie gets so tickled by this! Awful pic of me, but we were enjoying the ride...
Dustin and Brit came and stayed on their way from New Jersey to San Francisco. We had a great time and stayed up way too late. They were our first guests to sleep in the actual guest room...lol. We have lived in this house for over 3 years, and we had not set it up. We finally painted and got a bed and mattress. I love how the color turned out and the bedding. I still have to decorate and I want to add in some yellow to brighten it up, but I am happy with how it is turing out!
THURSDAY~We had VBS this morning and then went and then swam all afternoon. It was such a pretty day and we all had a good time.
FRIDAY~Today was the last day of VBS. It was a great week and something that I am blessed to have a part in! Today the kids played games, and the prizes that they won, they took and put them in the Operation Christmas Child boxes. Maggie and Baileigh were twin this day...

Friday night, we started our All-Stars tournament. My sweet girl did amazing!
AND... we won!
SATURDAY~ We were back at it this morning, where we came away with another win this morning :)
We won another game this afternoon, but lost 2 in a row afterwards, so we were out. This is what Maggie thought about playing in the heat all day....
The girls did a fantastic job and ended up placing third in the district tournament!
SUNDAY~ Today was Father's Day. We went to church and then to lunch. Afterwards, we had friends and family over to swim and grill. It was a fun night and we were exhausted from the super busy weekend!
