HEY MAY

Well hello!  May brings with it, a lot of business!  The end of school, recital, parties, the end of ball season, and much more!  I have been off for about 2 weeks, but yesterday was Maggie's last day of school!  We are so excited that summer is here.  We love lazy mornings and sitting  by the pool all day!  We have a couple of trips planned this summer too!  Cheers to a summer filled with love, laughter, and great memories :)  Here is a little recap of May thus far....

Although I love the month of May for so many reasons, from now on this month will also mean tragedy and loss as well.  One week ago, today, we lost 2 very special people.  A longtime friend of ours lost his wife and 4 year daughter in a car accident.  These 2 special ladies leave behind a husband/father and a 10 year old daughter/sister.  Talk about putting things into perspective.  Last Wednesday, my heart was broken into a million pieces(and pretty much still is), but God coats our hurt and our pain with his loving arms and I can feel them a little more tightly each day.  It will still be a long road for many involved, but praise to the Father for knowing exactly what we need.

When Maggie got home from school Tuesday, I was cleaning our her backpack to put it up for the summer, and I found this sweet note.  It warms my heart to know that she is thinking of our sweet friends :)

My mom has been wanting family pictures for at least 2 years and we have just put it off because of the "headache"  I am SO glad that we finally did these.  This is just a glimpse of the wonderful pictures that we got.  SO glad we finally did this!
