My little girl is not so little anymore (sigh). Last week (8-4-16), Maggie had her first day of 5th grade. With this new grade, came a brand new school for her. So far, she likes it, and I am very glad for that. Me, on the other hand, not so much. I just haven't gotten used to the fact that she's not where she has been for the past 5 years. At her old school, I knew everyone, and everyone knew me. I know it's just gonna take some time, but it's just hard. She is my only baby and I think it causes me to have a harder time with certain things. If it was up to me, I would have sent off 1 or 2 more to kinder by now, but God had other plans!
The day before school started, the school had an orientation thing where the kids got the get their schedules and walk around the school...
The big day came quickly...quicker than I had hoped...lol Maggie was a little nervous, but she is a champ and was a nervous excited when it came go time.
