BEACH VACATION 2017

We had a very fun beach vacation this year!  We were missing 2 key people because of new job status, but we still had such a fun time!  My SIL and nephew joined us for a few days this year, and that was really fun! I have mentioned before, but my mom treats us to a week down in Florida and we are all so appreciative  It's always so refreshing to spend a week with family and get to just hang out and enjoy each other!

We got there on a Sunday and immediately unloaded and headed to the grocery store.  we came back to the villa, cooked frozen pizzas and went to bed.

This is Crab Island heading into Destin.  It's hard to see, but it was packed out!

Monday, we took the boat out and had a great time!  It was also mom's birthday, so when we got back, we had a little celebration for her :)

Tuesday, for the 4th, we went to the beach.  The kids loved the beach and played in the waves pretty much the entire time we were there.

Wednesday, we took a much needed break from the sun and did a little shopping!


Thursday, we were back at the beach for another fun day

Friday, we decided to try out going under the Destin bridge.  It was a lot of fun until the tide went out around 2.  The current was so strong and it was bringing in lots of pine straw.  It was crazy just how fast it changed from beautiful blue/green water to a little more of a brown color.  Regardless, we still had a great last day!

 We finished off our last night with some frozen yogurt.  Great way to end a fun trip.  We are so grateful for a week spent with family making forever memories!
