CHRISTMAS WITH THE "KREW"
Last night we had out annual Christmas party with our friends. In the past, before everyone started getting married, having little ones, and became responsible for paying bills etc, we bought gifts for each other. Of course that would break everyone to buy for friends, husbands, and kids, so we put all the kids names in a bowl and each of our kids draw a name. So, we are only buying one present or if you have 2 kids, you are buying 2 presents and so on! This works out really well and we love watching the kids open their presents and seeing how excited they get! As of right now we have 10 little ones and 2 of the moms are pregnant so next year we will have 12! We each brought a dish and the adults ate and mingled while the kids played their hearts out(even though we all live in the same town, some of the kids only get to see each other a few times a year). Overall, we all had a great time and we all talked about how we should all get together at least every couple of months just to catch up. I agree! I REALLY wanted to get a picture of all the kids together by the Christmas tree....but that didn't work out! I only got 2 pictures of them opening their presents and there are some kids that you can't even see :(




This is the cute little Mellisa and Doug cupcake set that Maggie got. The whole set is wooden and the little icing packs are markers that you decorate your cupcake with and then it wipes right off. Maggie loves it!
