We are back from out annual Destin trip! We had a great time and the week passed by way to quickly :(. But it always does when your on vacation...right? Anyways, on Tuesday, we went to Crab Island. As many times as we have been to Destin, we had never been to CI. It really was neat and in years past when we would drive over the bridge and look out and see all the boats and the BEAUTIFUL color of the water, I would always wonder what it was like. But I mean, it's just a sand bar, but it's just different! The water there was very cold and the current was kinda strong, but we had fun none the less!

We stayed at the Army Recreation Center this year and it was really nice! It was a totally different atmosphere from what we are used to, but we will be going back! We were actually on the Bay this time instead of the Gulf, but liked it just the same! The kids were able to ride their bikes and there was a pier where they could fish and crab at night. There was also boat docks were you could just hop in the boat and take off. We were there at the same time as one of mom's friends and her family, and we had a blast all hanging out together! We can't wait for next year :)
