SAD DAY :(
The oil has reached the shores of our beach here. I don't have any pictures because they have the East end of the beach blocked off where the clean up crews are working. It's sickening that this has happened. I mean all along we pretty much knew it would, but now that it's here, it's different. It's sad, it's depressing, it's unbelievable, it's entering the unknown. We don't know exactly what going to happen...our barrier islands, the seafood, the number of wildlife that will be affected, all of the fisherman out of work, restuarant owners and workers and so forth. Maybe I will get some pictures...just to have as a reminder of what I am sure no one really wants to remember.
