Warren was working in Fort Polk, Louisiana so we decided to make a weekend trip to see him. Maggie was NOT too thrilled about the drive. She asked "how much longer," no less than 100 times. She finally took a little nap :)
Since Warren was only 3 hours away from Houston, we decided to take Maggie to The American Girl store. She was beyond thrilled. For the first 10 minutes she ran from one thing to another. She was very overwhelmed and excited, but she finally settled down and enjoyed herself!
She chose MaKenna(the doll of the year) and a few things to go along with her. $200 later, we were done! Crazy expensive in that place! It was SO worth it though. We had a few hours to kill before we had dinner at the American Girl Bistro. Thee food was really good and surprisingly inexpensive! We had a wonderful day and I am thankful we were able to let her have the experience!
