Monday was our last full day and we decided to go to Ober Gatlinburg. It's a little ski resort at the top of the mountain. We wanted to snow tube and there were several sessions. We got there around 1 thinking that we would be able to get the 2:00 session. Well....we ended up getting the last tickets for the 5:00 sessions. You have to take a tram up there, so we went ahead and came back off of the mountain and went back up around 3:30. The tram ride up was beautiful. We even passed our cabin! We had the most fun time snow tubing and I am SO glad we were able to do this!
The next morning we stopped at Flapjacks and then started on the long trek home. Originally, we had planned to stay for half the day and do a few more things and leave after lunch, but it was raining so we headed home. We had a great time and we are planning to make this an every other year getaway!
