CHAPTER CLOSED

Today, we closed a big chapter of our lives.  Maggie is finished with the 4th grade, which means she moves to a different school.  I would love to say that I am excited, but I just am not.  It's hard to leave behind the past 5 years of your life.  When Maggie started Kindergarten 5 years ago, I knew this day would come fast, I just didn't realize how fast.  Now it's here and I just can't believe it.  One good thing is that Maggie seems to be excited.  I know that as time passes, I will get used to this new adventure.

This picture breaks my heart and makes it happy in so many ways....
Left- last full day of 4th grade
Right-first day of Kinder

This was her last official day of 4th grade

Our sweet girl racked up in the awards department earlier in the week.  She received all A's for the 4th 9weeks, all A's for the 2nd semester, all A's for the year and all A's K-4.  She also received perfect attendance for the entire year!  Her teacher gave a special award to each child, and Maggie received the All Around All Star award. Our hope for her is that she is always respectful and kind to everyone.  Of course we want her to do well academically, but their are special character traits that we hold dear and pray she will continue to grow in.  We a super proud of our girl and know that she will do great things!

We have come across many wonderful teachers during her time at EES and we are so grateful for that!  Maggie just adored her teacher this year :)

Our principal sent off her first babies.  She became principal Maggie's Kindergarten year, so they are the first class that she has had all the way through!
