IT'S MAY!

I can hardly wrap my mind around the fact that it is May.  Not much has been going on since Spring break, but we have a busy, busy next several weeks!  Then we roll into summer and it's all she wrote!  SO excited!
~We only have 16.5 more days of school...can I get an Amen?!  If you need me after May 25, I'll be in the sun somewhere!
~We start state testing tomorrow.  The most exhausting week of the school year besides the 1st week back from summer.
~Girls weekend in 4 days!  Can I get a whoop whoop?  And may I add that it's suppose to be beautiful!
~I might be having a 13th wedding anniversary.  Can't believe it!
~Recital time!  This year our recital is a week later than usual because of Leap year and the last Saturday of May happens to be Memorial Day weekend.  I always look forward to recital being the end of May because to me, summer doesn't officially start until after we are finished with all commitments!  I might have to make an exception this year, though!
~Our annual trip to the water park the day after the recital.  We started this 2 years ago, and it might be one of the best things we've ever done!  Sun, waterpark, friends....see!
~We have VBS the second week in June and I always teach, so that's what we'll be doing for half days that week!
~Annual beach trip with the fam
~A certain little girl will turn 10!  TEN
~Trip to San Fransisco.  Holy cow ya'll, I'm actually going to fly.
~A sweet husband that will be my same age...lol

And Maggie will have a cheer class once a week during the summer.  This will be our first go round with summer classes.  I honestly would't do it, but if you drop for the summer, you will probably lose your spot and have to get in where you fit in come August.  I am sure we can handle it!

These are some of our big adventures coming up!  Of course, we will be swimming, making some island and river trips, boiling crawfish, having date nights, swimming (pretty much daily) as well as many more things.  I want to soak up every single minute this summer and have a grateful heart for being allowed to enjoy this awesome time in my life!
