SOFTBALL DIVA

This year, Maggie moved up to her first year in kid pitch for softball.  She did way better than we expected!  Not that we expected her to do bad, it's just a hard year.  Maggie played first base as well as pitched.  And let me tell you... she did great as a first year pitcher.  We are super proud go her!  She had a great year and made All Stars!

The girls practiced almost everyday for several weeks to get ready for the AllStar tournament.  Maggie also went to pitching lessons a couple times to get some pointers and tips.  The girls played a great first game and came away with a win.  The second game was the complete opposite and we came up short.  So, we had to play a 3rd game to see who would come out champion.  Our girls pulled it off and we could not have been more proud!  It was SUPER hot and I honesty don't know how the girls did it.  Maggie pitched the 1st and 3rd games and she did very well!

you know you have good friends when they sit out in the heat to watch you :)

I love watching Maggie play ball so much!  I am glad for a break so that we can enjoy the last half of our summer!
