WATERVILLE

For the past few years, we have gone to Waterville the day after the recital.  Well, we were super bummed this year when the rain ruined our planned day.  This is usually the only weekend that works out with everyone's summer travels, but it ended up working out that we could go yesterday.  We were SO excited and had a great day!

We went and ate at Lamberts afterwards.  And ya'll...I have never died so much!  We had a large party and so we had 2 big booths and then a smaller one.  My friend Jamie was sitting at the booth beside me.  We were sharing our meal, so I was looking her way as she was ordering our food when out of no where a roll nailed her in the face.  I am not talking about brushed her cheek or grazed her nose, forehead, etc.  I am talking like the person throwing the rolls was practicing pitching for the MLB.  And said roll smacked her right in the middle of her face and broke.  You definitely had to be there...and we laugh now, but she was SO mad.  No lie...I describe it as the episode of The Brady Bunch where Marsha get hot in the face with a football, except this was a 6o mph roll!
