We stopped at The Royal Gorge in Cannon City, Colorado. So glad we fit this in. It was breath taking, for sure!
There was a sign for every state. Pretty cool!
A few years back, there was a fire that destroyed pretty much every single thing at the park. It has just recently been rebuilt and opened back up for business. They had a few things to look at from the fire...this tree being one of them.
We got to Denver around 4, unloaded and went to eat diner. We needed to get in bed early because we had to be up at 3 for our flight home. It was definitely a quick little trip, but I feel like we packed a lot in while we were there. I am so glad that we got to have this experience. We were back in Mississippi by 1 on Tuesday, thus starting the dreaded unpacking.
